FOUR-YEAR BSc HONORS BIOCHEMISTRY AND CHEMISTRY
Admission Requirements
Entry into the 4-year honors degree program occurs at the beginning of the third year and requires that the student has completed year 2 of the Biochemistry and Chemistry program, including Chemistry 271a, 273a, 274a, 281G, 283G, 284b, or the former Chemistry 251, 253 and 254; Biochemistry 280a and Biology 281b. A 70% average in these courses, with no mark below 60% is required; students failing to meet these criteria will only be admitted to Year 3 of the Honors program by special permission of both the Department of Biochemistry and the Department of Chemistry.

Biochemistry 381a, 382b and 380G Chemistry 370a/b or the former Chemistry 352a, plus any three of: Chemistry 371F, 372F/G, 373F, 374a/b, 384F/G, or the former Chemistry 351a, 353a, 354b, 362b, 374a One Biology or Medical Sciences half-course at the 200- or 300-level (except Pathology 240a, 440a/b, the former Anatomy and Cell Biology 329b, Biochemistry 385a, 386b, Epidemiology and Biostatistics 330b, or Medical Sciences 400)
