A first year program with a mark of at least 60% in Calculus 050a/b plus 051a/b, or Applied Mathematics 026, and two of Earth Sciences 081a/b, 083F/G, 281b, or the former 082a/b, 085a/b, or the former Earth Sciences 020, and Physics 020 or 024 or the former 025 as principal courses. Chemistry 020 or 023 is a required subsidiary course.

One half course approved option: Linear Algebra 040a/b (in first term) if not taken in first year

Applied Mathematics 301a/b, 315a/b, 351a/b

Earth Sciences 340a/b

One half course approved option

Note: Applied Mathematics 432a/b must be taken as a principal course in third or fourth year.

Note:
The following courses must be included in the third or fourth year of the program as subsidiary courses: Applied Mathematics 310F/G, Earth Sciences 320a/b, Earth Sciences 322a. Civil and Environmental Engineering CEE 326 and 465a/b are recommended subsidiary course options.
