The first-year program in Arts and Humanities leads to programs offered by departments within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, and also prepares students for admission to programs in the Faculties of Social Science or Science provided that the prerequisites for upper-year courses are satisfactorily met. Similarly, students who have successfully completed a first-year program in Social Science or in Science are eligible to enrol in Arts and Humanities programs in subsequent years.
