BACHELOR OF ARTS IN HONORS ART HISTORY AND CRITICISM


Admission Requirements

First year program, with VAH 040 or the former Visual Arts 040, and 4.0 courses from outside the Department, 1.0 of which must be from the Faculties of Science or Social Science with no more than 2.0 courses from each subject.


Program

After the first year, the program consists of 15.0 courses including a minimum of 10.0 Honors Visual Arts courses and a minimum of 3.0 options taken outside the Department.

Students in the BA in Honors Art History & Criticism who wish to include Visual Arts Studio courses as part of their program should consult the Department.

Students are required to take 1.0 course at the 020-level in French or at the 200-level in a different modern language other than English, or to demonstrate proficiency at that level.

Note: Students registered in the Bachelor of Arts program in Honors Art History and Criticism prior to September, 1998 may be able to complete the program under the previous regulations. Please consult the Department.
