(4) CHEMISTRY OPTION


Admission Requirements

A first year program with a mark of at least 60% in Calculus 050a/b plus 051a/b, or Applied Mathematics 026, at least 60% in Chemistry 020 (or at least 70% in Chemistry 023) and at least 60% in Physics 020 or 024 or the former 025 as principal courses. Linear Algebra 040a/b is strongly recommended: otherwise it must be taken as an extra half course in the first term of second year.

    One half-course in Physics at the 200-level, with the approval of the Department, or the former Physics 243b
    Linear Algebra 040a/b must be taken as an extra half course, in the first term, if not taken in first year
