BA IN HONORS ECONOMICS (offered at Huron University College and King's University College)
The Honors Economics program offered at King's College and Huron University College is designed for those students who wish to combine economic theory with applied studies in Economics. Strong emphasis is placed on institutional and policy-oriented applications that allow for the exploration of normative issues.
Admission Requirements
Note: Students entering the program in Honors Economics must have standing in OAC Calculus or equivalent. Students who do not have a Calculus course at that level must include Mathematics 012a/b in their first year program. The 020-089 level Mathematics course will be postponed, but must be completed prior to entering second year of the honors program.

Economics 313E, 320a/b, or 316a/b, 381a/b, 319F/G (to be taken in third year) Two full-course equivalents in Economics to be taken over third and fourth years. (Students planning to do graduate work in Economics are strongly advised to consult the Department before selecting their courses) Students may substitute one of History 232E, 233E, 362E, 364E, Political Science 230E, 231E, 237E, 244E, 320E, for the equivalent of one of these full courses in Economics, with the permission of the Department.
Note: A total of nine principal full-course equivalents must be taken in second, third, and fourth years.
