Joint Area of Concentration
Subject to the availability of required courses, students at Huron University College can complete a joint Area of Concentration with ICS in the following areas: Anthropology; Classical Studies; Comparative Literature and Civilization (formerly Western Literature and Civilization); Economics; English; French; Geography; German; History; Kinesiology; Philosophy; Political Science; Psychology; Russian Studies; Sociology; Spanish; Visual Arts; Women's Studies. Students completing a joint area of concentration with French, German, and Spanish do not need to take additional language courses, but must take the five required ICS courses (not in the language of their joint Area of Concentration). Students combining ICS with an Area of Concentration in a discipline other than French, German or Spanish, must include the two language full-course equivalents in the five required ICS courses. Note: Students wishing to graduate with a joint Area of Concentration with ICS should fulfil the Science requirement during their first year.
