FOUR-YEAR BSc HONORS GENETICS
Admission Requirements
For admission to the Honors Genetics program a student must fulfil the requirements for a Three-Year BSc in Biology with an overall average of 70% in the last two years, and at least a 70% average in the five senior biology courses which make up the area of concentration, and must include:

Principal Courses
Biology 493 and 482 (formerly Genetics 491 and 492) Two full courses or equivalent chosen from: Biology 461F, 462b, 460b, and Biology 450F/G and 451F/G (formerly Biology 480, Genetics 411a, 412b, 413b and 480); 366b, 387a, 392a, 393b, 394a, 395a, 397b, if not taken previously; Microbiology and Immunology 467b; Biochemistry 410a; Biology 440G (formerly Zoology 440b), with a maximum of 1.0 at the 300 level.
Subsidiary Course
One course offered in the Faculty of Science.
Note:
In addition to the normal progression requirements for Honors Specializations, students must obtain a minimum mark of 70% in Biology 281b and 396a/b in order to progress within the Four-Year BSc Honors Genetics.
