Admission Requirements
Second Year
Progression into Third Year
To proceed to the third year of this program, an average of at least 60% in the mandatory second year Computer Science courses and Mathematics 222a, 223b is required
Third Year
Computer Science 305a/b Six other 300-level Computer Science half-courses One senior half-course offered by one of the Departments of Applied Mathematics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or Statistical Sciences (excluding Statistical Sciences 137a and the former Statistical Sciences 138b) One option
The Area of Concentration will consist of the 7.0 senior-level Computer Science and Mathematics courses which are specified in second and third year. (6.5 courses for those who have completed the former Computer Science 201). The senior half course offered by one of the Departments of Applied Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or Statistical Sciences, required in third year, is not part of the Area of Concentration.
