First year with three principal courses. One of Philosophy 020E, 021 or 022E is very strongly recommended.

A minimum average of 70% in three principal courses with no mark less than 60% in these courses and no failures.

After the first year a total of at least nine Honors Philosophy courses and six options is required. Additional Philosophy courses may be included among the options, but all Honors Philosophy courses taken will be regarded as principal courses.

All of Philosophy 200F/G, 201F/G, 210F/G, 211F/G, and 222a/b or 212 must be taken in second year. Philosophy 225F/G and 226F/G are strongly recommended. Students contemplating graduate work in philosophy should take Philosophy 322a/b if possible.

Four Philosophy courses at the 300- or 400-level are required. At least one of Philosophy 332E, 352E, 354E or 362E is required in third year.
