Admission Requirements
Principal Courses
One full course equivalent, chosen from the following:
Subsidiary Courses
Two courses (of which at least one full course must be from Arts or Social Science)
*If Linear Algebra 040a/b is not taken in first year, it must be taken prior to the second term of second year with a minimum mark of at least 60%. †If Statistical Sciences 023a/b is not taken in first year, students should consult with an academic counsellor in the Department of Statistical and Actuarial Sciences prior to entering second year.
Second Year
Principal Courses
Subsidiary Courses
Third and Fourth Years
Principal Courses
Each of the above courses will be considered as a principal course in the year that it is taken. At least three principal courses must be taken in each of third and fourth years.
Subsidiary Courses
Two other full course equivalents, to bring the total number of courses taken in each year to five courses.
Note: To satisfy prerequisite requirements, the above courses must be taken in an appropriate order. Students should consult both the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Statistical and Actuarial Sciences before registering.
