SPECIALIZATION IN MATHEMATICS


Admission Requirements

Completion of first-year requirements, including Calculus 050a/b with a mark of at least 60%, Calculus 051a/b with a mark of at least 60% (or Calculus 081a/b with a mark of at least 85%).

Linear Algebra 040a/b and Mathematics 060a/b are recommended.
Note: Linear Algebra 040a/b must be completed with a mark of at least 60% in year 1 or prior to Mathematics 203b or 283b.


Module 

9.0 courses:

0.5 course from: Calculus 250a/b or 280a/b
0.5 course from: Calculus 251a/b or 281a/b
0.5 course from: Mathematics 200a/b, or 283b, or the former 203b
1.5 courses: Mathematics 207a/b, 208a/b, 217a/b
0.5 course from Mathematics 201a/b or 222a
1.0 course from: Mathematics 302a and 308a/b or Mathematics 230
0.5 course from: Mathematics 305a/b or Differential Equations 215a
0.5 course from: Mathematics 307a/b or 227b
3.5 additional Mathematics courses at the 200 level or above (Up to 2.0 courses may be substituted with courses offered by other Departments with the approval of the Department of Mathematics.)
