* These 6.0 courses from the Medical Science Disciplines (see definition above) have been divided into two groups. At least 2.5 must be from one Discipline and 2.0 from a second Discipline. The remaining 1.5 courses may be selected from any of the Disciplines. 1.5 courses with laboratories, at the 200-level or above, from the Medical Sciences, Biology, or Chemistry, must be completed prior to entering the final year of the module. Students are advised to consult with the BMSc counsellor prior to selecting 300- and 400-level courses to ensure that appropriate prerequisite courses have been selected.
