SOCIOLOGY CERTIFICATE IN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

The Certificate in Community Development is offered through the Department of Sociology at Brescia University College. Students may pursue the Certificate concurrently with their degree program. All Community Development courses may count towards the student's undergraduate program. This program is comprised of required courses, including a practicum course, equivalent to three courses, and two optional courses to be selected from an approved interdisciplinary list.

Admission Requirements

Limited enrolment based on completion of at least 2 years toward a BA in Sociology or a related social science, with a minimum overall average of 70% in the year previous to the one in which the Certificate Program is taken.

Progression Requirements

Students must obtain an average of 70% in the required courses, with no course under 60%.
