Anthropological approaches to the reading of public debates on genetic research, new reproductive technologies, science and the environment, space exploration, energy alternatives, exploring science itself as a domain within which culture, power and identity are negotiated. Includes a consideration of indigenous traditions of knowledge production. |
| Prerequisite: Any Social Science 1st year Essay full or half course and 3rd year registration or higher in any program. |
