Chemistry 253 Introductory Organic Chemistry

Introduction to the fundamental concepts of organic chemistry. The presentation will be organized around functional groups, with a strong emphasis on reaction mechanisms.
Antirequisites: Chemistry 213a/b, 223b.
Prerequisite: Chemistry 020, 023.
2 lecture hours, 3 laboratory hours, 1 tutorial hour.
Limited to students in chemistry programs.
