Religious Studies 271F/G The Church in an Ecumenical Age

An inquiry into Roman Catholic understandings of the purpose and organization of the church as these have emerged, developed and continue to evolve in response to historical circumstances and theological controversies.

Prerequisites: Religious Studies 201F/G or 202F/G or permission of the instructor.

Antirequisites: Religious Studies 142E, 241E.
