| Political Science 429E Nationalist Conflicts and Paths to Peace |

This course will deal with the relationship between nationalism and conflict in multinational societies, and also examine the challenges posed by self- determination conflicts for conflict resolution and management. The approach will be broadly comparative and based on the study of cases in Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. |
| Antirequisite: Political Science 420E in 2003-04. |
| Prerequisite: Registration in Honors Politics or permission of the Department. |
