English 201F/G History of Theory and Criticism

An introduction to important issues in the history of literary criticism and theory from Plato to the twentieth century.

Antirequisite: English 200, 215a/b, 491E, or the former English 201a/b.

Prerequisites: At least 60% in English 020E, 022E, 024E, and at least 60% in all subsequent English courses, or permission of the Department.
