THREE-YEAR BA STATISTICS

For students who entered this program in September 2000 or earlier.

Note:

This program is being discontinued. No students will be admitted to second year of this program after September 2000. All students currently in the program should complete their course requirements by April 2002, to guarantee that the required courses will still be available.

Second and Third Year

The following courses must be completed by the end of third year: Statistical Sciences 135, 301a/b, 302a/b, Statistical Sciences 236 or Mathematics 236, Actuarial Science 153 and either one full course or equivalent in Statistical Sciences, or one of the following:

The former Applied Mathematics 212a and Applied Mathematics 213b, or the former Applied Mathematics 200
208a/b and 209a/b, or the former Computer Science 201
Economics 150a/b and 152a/b
Mathematics 203b, or
Mathematics 283b, or
Calculus 250a/b and 251a/b, or the former Mathematics 202a, 204a and 205b, or
Calculus 280a/b and 281a/b, or the former Mathematics 204a and 285b

The Area of Concentration will consist of the 5.0 senior-level courses which are specified in second and third year.
