A study of major directions in modern theatre and drama with special emphasis upon the plays of Ibsen, Chekhov, Strindberg, Brecht, Beckett and Pinter. |
| Antirequisite: The former English 271E. |
| Prerequisites: At least 60% in English 020E, 022E, 024E or the former 026, and at least 60% in all subsequent English courses, or permission of the Department. |
