| English 232E Shakespeare and Drama |
|
A study of Shakespearean drama, concentrating on eight plays common to all sections of the course. Each instructor will add a minimum of four Renaissance plays (at least two by Shakespeare) and may add other dramatic or nondramatic material, depending on individual emphasis. |
| Antirequisites: English 259E, 260F/G, and 261F/G. |
| Prerequisites: At least 60% in English 020E, 022E, 024E or the former 026, and at least 60% in all subsequent English courses, or permission of the Department. |
| 3 lecture hours. |
