The architecture of modern high performance computers. High-performance computers, symmmetrical multiprocessors, parallel computers, reconfigurable systems, Intel class computer systems, computer hardware, hard disk organization, computer communications, computer operating systems and languages. |
| Antirequisite: The former ES 489a/b |
| Prerequisite: Completion of third year of the Electrical Engineering program or permission of the Department, ECE 339a/b or the former ES 339a/b, ECE 375a/b or the former ES 375a/b, or permission of the Department. |
| 2 lecture hours, 1.5 laboratory hours, half course. |
