An advanced course in Modern Standard Chinese designed for students who speak a Chinese dialect and who have a basic knowledge of written Chinese. Speaking, listening, and conversational skills are emphasized. |
| Antirequisites: The former Modern Eastern Civilizations 224. |
| Prerequisite: International and Comparative Studies 124, the former Modern Eastern Civilizations 124, or permission of the Department. |
