Microbiology and Immunology 450a Advanced Bacteriology

Selected topics of current interest in bacteriology, focusing on aspects of bacterial diversity: structural components, physiology, associations, their influence in the environment. Current phylogenetic concepts will be considered.

Prerequisites: Biology 280a and 359b.
