MME 499 Mechanical Engineering Design (Industrial)

Mechanical Engineering Design team projects to be conducted under the supervision of an industrial partner. The aim of the course is to develop interdisciplinary skills required to solve often open-ended engineering design problems. Emphasis is on engineering design concepts and methods to meet specific needs subject to constraints: standards, socio-economic issues or safety and health regulations.

Antirequisite: MME 419, the former ES 499.

Prerequisites: Completion of third year of the Mechanical Engineering program.

1 lecture hours, 4 laboratory/tutorial hours.
