Topics include: Introduction to MATLAB and numerical analysis; numerical linear algebra; ordinary differential equations including numerical solution and Laplace transforms; Fourier series and transforms; discrete transform; fast Fourier transform with application to signal processing. |

| Prerequsites: Applied Mathematics 025a/b and 026. |
