INTERMEDIATE ITALIAN IN ITALY


The course builds upon a basic knowledge of Italian and develops further effective oral and written skills in a language immersion environment. Students will be exposed to authentic Italian culture in the heart of Tuscany through daily interactions with native speakers. The course includes a community-engaged learning component.

Antirequisite(s): Italian 2200, the former Italian 2250.

Prerequisite(s): Italian 1030 or Italian 1030W/X or Italian 1033, Italian 1045A/B and Italian 1046A/B, or Grade 12U Italian with a minimum grade of 70% or permission of the Department.

Extra Information: 80 lecture hours over 4 weeks. The course takes place in Italy during Intersession. See Department for information on application procedure.
