INTRODUCTION TO SOCIAL WORK PRACTICE AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Students are introduced to a number of contemporary theories that underlie the practice of social work. A communications laboratory offers a small group experiential means of learning foundational communication and interviewing skills.
Antirequisite: Social Work 2214A/B and Social Work 2215A/B.
Extra Information: 3 lecture hours. This course is open to all students, but is required for admission to the professional Bachelor of Social Work (Honors) program.
