Scholars Electives 1100F/G - First Year Scholar's Elective Seminar Course
This course will examine a theme of academic and/or public importance that is determined each year.
Antirequisite(s): Scholars Electives 1020Y
Prerequisite(s): Restricted to first-year Scholar's Electives Students

Scholars Electives 2200E - Supervised Individual Research 1
Under the mentorship of a faculty member, students will work on a research project, keep a complete record of the research, submit written interim and final reports and finally, make a presentation describing the research throughout the year.
Antirequisite(s): Scholars Electives 3303E
Prerequisite(s): Scholars Electives 1100F/G or the former Scholars Electives 1020Y and permission of the Dean of the Faculty. Restricted to Scholar's Electives Students; normally taken in Year 2.

Scholars Electives 3302E - Intellectual Origins and Concepts: Contemporary Issues
Seminar course with readings. Topic available during the Intent to Register period.

Scholars Electives 3305E - Supervised Individual Research 2
Under the mentorship of a faculty member, students will work on a research project, keep a complete record of the research, submit interim reports and, finally, a thesis, and present a seminar based on the research throughout the year.

Prerequisite(s): Scholars Electives 2200E or the former Scholars Electives 3303E and permission of the Dean of the Faculty. Restricted to students in the Scholar's Electives Program; normally taken in Year 3.

Scholars Electives 4400Y - Supervised Research Communication
Students will develop skills in communicating the results of their independent research. A research poster will be prepared for presentation to their peers and Scholars Electives faculty mentors.
Antirequisite(s):
Prerequisite(s): Enrolment in the Scholars Electives module, registration in at least 5.0 other courses during the academic year, registration in or prior completion of a senior research thesis or independent study course, as approved by the Dean of the student’s Faculty.
