The law of torts is concerned with the compensation of a wide range of civil wrongs. The focus of this course is on the legal rules governing the tort of negligence. The course will focus on Canadian media law. Media law brings together elements from a number of different areas - most prominently criminal law, constitutional law and the law of torts.  Media law applies equally to all media of communication.
