Admission Requirements
Completion of first-year requirements, including 1.0 courses from Medieval Studies 1022 or both of Medieval Studies 1025A/B and 1026A/B with a mark of at least 60%. Students should consult with the Academic Counselling Office of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities prior to admission.

0.5 course: Medieval Studies 2022F/G. 0.5 course: Medieval Studies 3022F/G. 1.0 course from: Classical Studies 3490F/G; History 2149A/B, 2401E, 2405E, 2607F/G, 2650E, 2809E, 3426F/G, 3605E, 4421E; Music 3700A/B; Philosophy 2006, 2214, 2205W/X, 3012F/G, 3014F/G, 4023F/G, 4026F/G, 4027F/G; Visual Arts History 2251E, 2252F/G, 2253E, 2254F/G, 2255F/G. 1.0 course from: Comparative Literature and Culture 2141A/B, 2142A/B; English 3012, 3114E, 3115E, 3116E; French 3540F/G, 3541F/G, 3542F/G, 4040A/B. 1.0 course from: Latin 2000*. 2.0 additional courses from those listed above or Medieval Studies 3320F/G, 4320F/G, or those on a list approved by the Committee for Medieval Studies, available from the program coordinator. Special topics courses are not offered every year; students should check the website for current courses. Students must take 1.0 courses (including MS 3022F/G) at the 3000-level or higher.

*Latin 1000 is the prerequisite for Latin 2000; if you have Grade 12U Latin, please consult the Department of Classical Studies for a possible waiver.
