Admission Requirements
Completion of first-year requirements with no failures. Students must have an average of at least 70% in 3.0 principal courses, including 1.0 course from History 1401E, 1403E, 1601E, 1801E or 1901E, or any other 1000-1999 level History course, plus 2.0 additional courses, with no mark in these principal courses below 60%.
Module 9.0 courses:
1.0 course from: Canadian History 2201E, 2203E, 2205E. 1.0 course: United States History 2301E. 1.0 course: European History 2403E. 1.0 course from: World or Comparative – Thematic History 2650E, 2800F/G, 2808F/G, 4805E. Note: 3.0 of the 4.0 core courses must be taken before year 4. 1.0 additional course in History at the 2200 level or above. 2.0 courses in History at the 3000 level. 2.0 courses in History at the 4000 level.
To progress in the Honors Specialization module in History, 3.0 of the 4.0 mandatory core courses must be completed with an average of at least 70% with no mark less than 60%.
Note: Classical Studies 3400E: Greek and Roman History may be counted as a principal course towards a History module.
