MAJOR IN VISUAL ARTS

Admission Requirements
Completion of first-year requirements, including Visual Arts Studio 1020 or Visual Arts Studio 1025 and Visual Arts History 1040, with a mark of at least 60% in each course, or permission of the Department.

Module
6.0 courses:

1.0 course in VAH at the 2200 level.
2.0 courses in VAS at the 2200 level.
1.0 course: VAS 2281F/G, VAS 3381F/G, VAS 3380E.
2.0 additional courses in VAH or VAS at the 2200 level or above, of which at least 1.0 must be at the 3000 or 4000 level.

Note: For students who wish to focus exclusively on Art History, only VAH 1040 is required in the first year, although VAS 1020 is recommended, and the 2.0 courses in VAS at the 2200 level can be replaced with 2.0 courses from VAH at the 2200 or 3000 level.

This Major may not be combined with any of the Honors Specializations in the Department of Visual Arts.
