Any student who has graduated with a 3 or 4 year undergraduate degree may apply for admission, subject to prerequisites and general university admission requirement. A student may not pursue both the Diplôme de français pratique and a French module. All the French courses of the Diploma program may be credited toward other undergraduate programs.

The normal prerequisite to enter the Diploma program is Grade 12U French or practical equivalent. A placement test will be required.
