MINOR IN SPANISH LANGUAGE AND LINGUISTICS

Admission Requirements
Completion of first year requirements, including 1.0 course from Spanish 1030 or 1030W/X (or the former Spanish 002 or 002w/x) with a mark of at least 60%. Those with Grade 12U Spanish will receive special permission to go straight into Spanish 2200 or 2200W/X.

Module
4.0 courses:

1.0 course from: Spanish 2200, 2200W/X, 2223.
1.0 course
from: Spanish 3300 and 3301E.
0.5 course: Spanish 3303A.
1.5 courses from the following: Spanish 2214F/G, 3314F/G, 3315F/G, 3316F/G, 3390F/G, 4406F/G, 4407F/G, 4408A/B, 4411F/G, 4412F/G.

Notes: With permission of the Department, certain additional Spanish courses at the 4000 level (Special Topics) may be used to fulfill requirements for Language and Linguistics courses listed above.
With permission of the Department, students who are fluent in Spanish may substitute Spanish 2200 with Portuguese 2200.
