Scholars Electives 3303E - Supervised Individual Research 1
Under the mentorship of a faculty member, students will work on a research project, keep a complete record of the research, submit written interim and final reports and, finally, make a presentation describing the research throughout the year. Restricted to students in the Scholar’s Electives Program; normally taken in Year 2.

Prerequisite(s): Scholars Electives 1020Y, with a mark of at least 80 %, permission of the proposed faculty mentor and the Dean of the Faculty.
Corequisite(s):
Pre-or Corequisite(s):
Extra Information: Minimum of 6 hours per week, 1.0 course.

Scholars Electives 3304E - Supervised Individual Research 2
Under the mentorship of a faculty member, students will work on a research project, keep a complete record of the research, submit interim reports and, finally, a thesis, and present a seminar based on the research throughout the year. Restricted to students in the Scholar’s Electives Program; normally taken in Year 3.

Scholars Electives 4400Y - Supervised Research Communication
Students will develop skills in communicating the results of their independent research. A research poster will be prepared for presentation to their peers and Scholars Electives faculty mentors.
Antirequisite(s):
Prerequisite(s): Enrollment in the Scholars Electives module, registration in at least 5.0 other courses during the academic year, registration in or prior completion of a senior research thesis or independent study course, as approved by the Dean of the student’s Faculty.
