HONORS SPECIALIZATION IN GLOBAL CULTURE STUDIES

Admission Requirements

Completion of first-year requirements with no failures. Students must have an average of at least 70% in 3.0 principal courses, including at least 0.5 course from Centre for Global Studies 1000E, 1021F/G, 1022F/G or 1023F/G, with no mark in these principal courses below 60%. Students should note the language requirement for graduation in this module when selecting first year courses. English, Political Science, History and Philosophy are recommended first year courses.

0.5 course from: Centre for Global Studies 2002F/G, 2004F/G.
1.0 course from: Centre for Global Studies 3511F/G, 3512F/G, 3515F/G, 3523F/G–3525F/G.
1.0 course in Centre for Global Studies at the 4000-4999 level.
2.5 courses from: Centre for Global Studies 2002F/G, 2004F/G, 3100E and above.
1.0 course from: English 2235A/B, 2236F/G, 2361E, 2362F/G, 2363F/G; History 2701E, 2702EPhilosophy 2812F/G, 2820F/G, 3820F/G; Political Science 2219E, 2231E.
2.0 Arts or Social Science courses at the 2200 level or above. The courses taken to meet this requirement must have global culture studies content and receive prior approval from the Centre.
