ADMISSION, PROGRESSION AND GRADUATION FOR BMOS HONORS DEGREE
Admission Requirements
Students may not apply to the BMOS Honors Double Major when they apply for admission to Brescia. Students may apply for admission upon successful completion of 5.0 first-year requirements, with an average of 70%, and no grade less than 60% in the 3.5 principal courses:

Notes:

*If MOS 1020A/B  has not been completed, a substitute half-year course in Year 1 will be calculated in the admission average, but MOS 1020A/B must be completed prior to graduation.  **When considering a program in another discipline, please check the Mathematics requirement(s) for the other discipline and choose the appropriate Mathematics course(s) that satisfies that particular module.
In addition to meeting the above requirements, students must successfully complete the admission requirements for a Major module in a discipline other than Management and Organizational Studies.  If admission requirements are not met for both of the Majors, students will not be permitted to register in the BMOS Honors Degree program and may apply to a BMOS Specialization module or to another degree program.
To apply to the BMOS Honors program (Double Major) after the second year, students must have received an overall average of at least 70% on the last 5.0 courses, including no grade less than 60% in any of the principal courses, and an overall cumulative average of 65%. In addition, students must successfully complete the admission requirements for a Major module in a discipline other than Management and Organizational Studies.

Progression and Graduation Requirements

To remain in the BMOS Honors program, students must maintain a cumulative average of 70% in each module, with no mark less than 60% in the modular courses of each Major, and obtain a passing grade in non-module courses.  In addition, students must maintain a cumulative average of 65% for all courses.  Students who fail to meet these progression requirements may be eligible to apply to a Specialization in BMOS or to another program.

Graduation Requirements

To graduate, students must achieve a minimum cumulative modular average of 70% with a minimum mark of 60% in each course of each module, obtain a passing grade in each option, and maintain a minimum overall average of 65% on the 20.0 courses counted towards the BMOS Honors Degree. Students with advanced standing must achieve an overall average of 65% on courses completed at Western and its affiliated colleges. All students require 2.0 designated essay courses (at least 1.0 of which must be a senior course numbered 2000-4999) and 1.0 course from each of the Categories A, B and C.
