THREE-YEAR BSc PROGRAMS

Students may choose a program in Applied Mathematics or in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. Engineering students who wish to take the Applied Mathematics degree program concurrently are required to take five additional courses of which three must have mathematical content approved by the Department. For more details on this concurrent program refer to "undergraduate info", on the web site www.apmaths.uwo.ca Approval for concurrent degree programs in Science is the responsibility of the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Science.


Admission Requirements

A first year program with a mark of at least 60% in one of: Calculus 050a/b plus 051a/b, or Applied Mathematics 026. Linear Algebra 040a/b and a first year physics course are strongly recommended. Computer Science 025a/b or 026a/b, and 027a/b, in each case with a mark of at least 60%, constitute an additional prerequisites for the Applied Mathematics and Computer Science program.
