SCIENCE: PROGRAMS OF STUDY (INCLUDES BMSc)
The Faculty of Science offers certain programs that lead to a 3-year BA, a 3-year BSc, a 4-year general BA, a 4-year general BSc, or to an honors BA or BSc in accordance with the regulations set out by the University. The Faculty of Science and the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry offer joint programs which lead to a 4-year general BMSc, or to an Honors BMSc. The Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Education offer a five-year Honors BSc and concurrent BEd. (NOTE: This program is only available in Mathematical Sciences.) Specific course requirements are described in the appropriate departmental entries. Except in those cases where it is stated in the program description, most programs in the Faculty of Science do not normally have limited enrolments. However, should a case arise in which the number of applicants for a particular program exceeds the number of available spaces, entry into that program would be competitive, and students who meet the usual minimum requirements might be refused admission.
Three-Year BA Degrees, with an approved Area of Concentration, are offered in:

BSc (Human Ecology) and BA (Human Ecology) programs in Family Studies and in Foods and Nutrition are offered jointly by the University and Brescia University College. For details see the Brescia University College section.
