HONORS SPECIALIZATION IN PATHOLOGY AND TOXICOLOGY

Enrolment in this module is limited. Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee that students wishing to enter or progress in this module will be offered enrolment.


Admission Requirements

Completion of first-year requirements with no failures. Students must have a minimum average of 70% in the following 3.0 principal courses, with no mark less than 65% in each.


1.0 course from: Physics 020, 024, 028a/b and 029a/b, or the former Physics 022 or 025, must be completed by the end of second year, with a minimum mark of 65%.

0.5 course from: Biology 316a, Chemistry 272F, Epidemiology and Biostatistics 330b, Physiology 314a
1.0 course from: Pharmacology and Toxicology 355a/b and 356a/b or the former Pharmacology and Toxicology 357
1.0 course from: Anatomy and Cell Biology 309, 319
1.0 course: Physiology 312, or the former Physiology 310
1.5 courses: Pathology 240a, 440a/b, 450b
1.5 courses: Pathology and Toxicology 480E (Research Project = 1.5 courses)
1.5 courses from: Pathology 390F/G, Pharmacology and Toxicology 432a/b, 436a/b, 438a/b, 443a/b, 454a/b, 462a, 463a, 466a/b, or the former Pharmacology and Toxicology 442a/b, 460a/b

Note: This module requires an anverage of at least 70% in all Pharmacology & Toxicology courses and a minimum mark of 75% in Pathology 240a to progress in this module.
