HONORS SPECIALIZATION IN MEDICAL BIOPHYSICS (Medical Science Concentration)

Enrolment in this module is limited. Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee that students wishing to enter or progress in this module will be offered enrolment.

Admission Requirements

Completion of first-year requirements with no failures. Students must have an average of at least 70% on the following 4.0 principal courses, with no mark in these principal courses below 65%:

1.0 course from: Physics 020, 024
1.0 course from: Calculus 050a/b and either Calculus 051a/b or 081a/b
1.0 course from: Chemistry 020 or 023
1.0 course from: Biology 022 or 023

If not taken in year 1, Biology 022 or 023 must be completed by end of year 2 with a mark of at least 65%.


Note: The combination of Physics 028a/b and 029a/b, or the former 022, will be acceptable, provided a minimum average of 80% is achieved for Physics 028a/b and 029a/b (with a minimum mark of at least 65% in each half course), or a minimum mark of 85% was achieved for the former Physics 022.
