CERTIFICATE IN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

The Certificate in Community Development is offered through the Department of Sociology and Brescia University College. Students in professional programs may pursue the Certificate concurrently with their degree program. All Community Development courses may count towards the student's undergraduate program. This program is comprised of required courses, including a practicum course, equivalent to three courses, and two optional courses to be selected from an approved interdisciplinary list.

Admission Requirements

Completion of Sociology 020 or 021E, with an average of at least 60% in the course. It is not available to students registered in New Academic Choices.

Progression Requirements

Students must obtain an average of 70% in the required courses, with no course under 60%.
