BSc IN HONORS GEOGRAPHY


Admission Requirements

First year program with one course in Geography at the 020 level and two full-course equivalent Science courses as principal courses; one additional first year Science full-course equivalent; one other full-course equivalent.

Acceptable Science principal courses: Astronomy 020; Biology 022 or 023; Calculus 050a/b, 051a/b, 081a/b; Chemistry 020 or 023; Computer Science 025a/b, 026a/b, 027a/b, the former Computer Science 028a/b; Earth Sciences 020, 081a/b, 082a/b, 083F/G, 084b, 085a/b, or the former 080; Environmental Science 021F/G; Linear Algebra 040a/b; Mathematics 028a/b, 030, 031; Physics 020, 024 or the former 025; Statistical Sciences 023a/b, 024a/b

Notes
  1. All non-Geography options should be selected in consultation with the Geography Department.
  2. For purposes of progression and graduation, ALL Honors Geography courses taken shall be counted as principal courses of the respective years.
  3. Students are encouraged to take Geography 490E
