BA IN HONORS PSYCHOLOGY

Note: The honors program in Psychology has limited enrolment. In cases where the number of applicants exceeds the number of available spaces, entry into the program will be competitive; students who meet the minimum requirements may be refused admission.

Students may enter the honors program after first, second, or third year if they meet the following admission requirements. To enter the honors program after first year, students must have a minimum overall average of 70% in their first year courses with no mark less than 60% in any course. To enter or remain in the honors program in each of the subsequent years, students must satisfy the following requirements:

principal courses: an overall overage of at least 70% with no mark less than 60

subsidiary courses: an overall average of at least 60% with no mark less than 50%

principal and subsidiary courses combined: an overall average of 73%

(Students who were admitted into the Honors programs prior to September 2002 will be governed by the procedures in effect at the time the students were admitted to the programs.)
