SPECIALIZATION IN MATHEMATICS


Admission Requirements
Completion of first-year requirements, including Calculus 050a/b with a mark of at least 60% and either Calculus 051a/b with a mark of at least 60% (recommended) or Calculus 081a/b with a mark of at least 85%.


Module

9.0 courses:

0.5 course from: Calculus 250a/b or 280a/b
0.5 course from: Calculus 251a/b or 281a/b
0.5 course from: Mathematics 200a/b, or 283b, or the former 203b
1.5 courses: Mathematics 207a/b, 208a/b, 217a/b
0.5 course from Mathematics 201a/b or 222a
1.0 course from: Mathematics 302a and 308a/b or Mathematics 230
0.5 course from: Mathematics 305a/b or Differential Equations 215a
0.5 course from: Mathematics 307a/b or 227b
3.5 additional Mathematics courses at the 200 level or above (Up to 2.0 courses may be substituted with courses offered by the Departments of Applied Mathematics or Statistical and Actuarial Sciences with the approval of the Department of Mathematics.
