INTEGRATED ENGINEERING PROGRAM

This program is managed by an appointed coordinator and is delivered jointly by the departments of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Mechanical and Materials Engineering.

The objective of the Integrated Engineering Program is to produce graduates trained to function effectively in the contemporary multidisciplinary work environment. The curriculum contains courses in chemical, civil, electrical and mechanical engineering, with emphasis on subjects which are important in a wide range of industries, as well as courses in mathematics, the sciences and complementary studies, equivalent to those in the other engineering programs.

Business Administration 299, MME 499*, CBE 410a/b, MME 487a/b, ES 498F/G, four 0.5 course technical electives**, 0.5 non-technical elective.

Fourth Year Program (September 2006)

Business Administration 299, MME 499*, CBE 410a/b, MME 487a/b, ES 498F/G, five 0.5 course technical electives**.


*MME 499 may be replaced with one of the following: ECE 416 Electrical Engineering Project; MME 419 Mechanical Engineering Project

** Technical Electives: Integrated Engineering Option

Some technical electives may not be offered in a given academic year.
