HONORS SPECIALIZATION IN CLINICAL BIOCHEMISTRY

Enrolment in this module is limited. Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee that students wishing to transfer into this module will be offered enrolment.


Admission Requirements

Completion of first-year requirements with no failures. Students must have an average of at least 70% in 3.0 principal courses including Biology 022 or 023, Chemistry 020 or 023, and 1.0 additional course, with no mark in these principal courses below 60%.

1.0 course: Chemistry 213a/b plus 223b, or Chemistry 273a plus 283G (or the former Chemistry 253)
1.0 course: Biology 282b plus 290F/G, Chemistry 214a/b plus 211a/b (or the former Chemistry 224a plus 234b), or Chemistry 274a plus 284b (or the former Chemistry 254)
0.5 course: Biology 244a/b or Statistical Sciences 222a/b
0.5 course: Pathology 240a
2.5 courses: Biochemistry 381a, 382b, 385a, 386b, 387G
1.5 course: Biochemistry 485E
2.0 courses: Biochemistry 410a, 420b, 450a, 463b
