Enrolment in first year is limited and admission is competitive. The minimum admission average is determined each year and is dependent on the number and quality of applicants, and number of available places in each faculty and/or program.

Note: students who take OAC courses in combination with Grade 12 "U" and "M" level courses will be considered for admission provided that they meet all course pre-requisites as specified by Western and achieve the appropriate admission average.
Students are able to provide information about circumstances that may have adversely affected their academic performance in high school including, financial circumstances, required employment, disability or illness, or other personal and family matters. This information will be taken into consideration in the admissions process.
